STEMtacular 2026
Attending STEMtacular for the first time this year was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the creativity, curiosity, and effort that students put into their projects. Over the two days, Rory and I set up a stall in the Discovery Zone to showcase some of the hands-on science experiences visitors can normally try at Explorium. It was great to bring a little bit of Explorium to the event and to see so many students getting excited about science. One of the biggest hits at our stand was the robot dog, which definitely drew a lot of attention from the crowd. A big highlight for me was getting the chance to do some outreach and interact with over 1,000 primary school students across the two days. Seeing their curiosity, questions, and enthusiasm for STEM was incredible and really reminded me why events like this are so important. Overall, it was a fantastic first year attending STEMtacular, and I’m already looking forward to being part of it again in the future. Christian, Team Lead
